梅克此前在NBA效力過雄鹿、活塞以及騎士，上賽季在CBA福建隊(duì)打球，場(chǎng)均上陣21.3分鐘可以拿到14.7分7.2籃板1.1搶斷1.9蓋帽。諾威爾是2023年的落選秀，身高1米73，上賽季曾為猛龍出戰(zhàn)過1場(chǎng)比賽，得到2分2籃板2助攻1搶斷。值得一提的是，諾威爾是NCAA“瘋?cè)睔v史單場(chǎng)助攻紀(jì)錄保持者（19次助攻）。
