特雷-楊1998年9月19日出生于美國得克薩斯州拉伯克，在2018年NBA選秀中，特雷-楊于首輪第5順位被獨(dú)行俠隊(duì)選中，隨后被交易至老鷹隊(duì)（與東契奇互換）。特雷-楊在2018-19賽季入選最佳新秀陣容一陣，2021-22賽季入選最佳陣容三陣，生涯至今三次入選全明星陣容。
