據(jù)此前報(bào)道，巴特勒會(huì)履行現(xiàn)有合同，但他一定會(huì)在未來試水自由市場(chǎng)，即使被交易到了新球隊(duì)。熱火總裁萊利曾在接受記者采訪時(shí)表示，球隊(duì)還不確定是否要給巴特勒提供頂薪續(xù)約合同。

巴特勒2024-25賽季薪資是4880萬美元，2025-26賽季是價(jià)值5241萬美元的球員選項(xiàng)，他可以在明年休賽期跳出合同成為自由球員。

2023-24賽季，巴特勒為熱火出戰(zhàn)60場(chǎng)常規(guī)賽，場(chǎng)均得到20.8分5.3籃板5助攻1.3搶斷。
